Terms
The terms of using this site.
Short, and honest. This is a place that introduces you to independent practitioners and runs its own events, and these are the terms that go with that.
Last updated 27 July 2026.
What we are, and what we are not
The Diamond Sunrise Center is a platform. We introduce you to practitioners, we tell you what they offer, and we let you hold a time with one of them. We also host our own events.
The practitioners here are independent. They are not our employees, our agents, or our partners. They set their own prices, run their own practices, carry their own registrations and insurance, and answer for their own work.
So a booking made on this site is an appointment with your practitioner, not with us. We hold the time, we pass on the details, and we send the confirmation. The agreement about the session itself is between you and the person holding it.
Money
- We take no payment. There is no checkout on this site and we never see a card number. You pay your practitioner directly, in whatever way they take payment, at whatever point they ask for it.
- Prices are theirs. Any price shown here is the practitioner's own, as they gave it to us. If one is out of date, theirs is the real one. Ask them before you book if the amount matters to you.
- Insurance receipts come from them. A receipt you can claim comes from the regulated practitioner who did the work, with their own registration number on it. We cannot issue one and we never will, because only they can. Our guides explain how coverage generally works in Ontario, but your own plan is the one that decides.
Changing or cancelling a booking
- Your link. Every confirmation email carries a link that belongs to that booking. It needs no account and no password. Open it to move the time or to cancel, and treat it as private: anybody holding that link can change that booking.
- Give what notice you can. Please cancel as early as you are able, so the time can go to somebody else. Practitioners may have their own cancellation terms, including a fee for a late change. Those are theirs, they will tell you what they are, and we are not part of that arrangement.
- If we have to cancel. Sometimes a practitioner becomes unavailable. We will tell you as soon as we know, nothing will have been charged through us, and you are welcome to pick another time.
Events
Reserving a place at one of our events is free and holds one place. If you find you cannot come, tell us, so that somebody else can have it. When an event is full we will say so rather than take a reservation we cannot honour, and an event that has already happened stops taking them.
Using the site
Use it the way a person would: find a practitioner, book a session, read the guides, come to an event.
- Send only what is yours to send. Do not submit somebody else's details, and do not send anything abusive, misleading, or unlawful.
- Do not use the forms to send unsolicited mail to us or to a practitioner.
- Do not try to reach parts of the site that are not yours, collect the practitioner directory in bulk, or run automated traffic at the forms. The rate limits are there for a reason and working around them is not allowed.
If any of that happens we may remove what was submitted, refuse a booking, or close off access. We would much rather not.
Nothing here is medical advice
The guides and the pages describing each practice are written to explain, not to diagnose or to treat. They are not medical advice and they are not a substitute for a doctor or a regulated health professional who knows your situation.
Whether something is covered by insurance depends on your own plan, and no page here can tell you that. Check with your insurer.
If something is urgent, call your doctor or emergency services. Do not wait for a booking.
What we can and cannot promise
We work to keep this site accurate and running. Practitioner profiles are built from what practitioners give us, and nobody appears here until they have agreed in writing to appear. What we cannot promise is that every detail is current, that the site is never down, or that a given practitioner is the right one for you.
We are not responsible for what happens in a session, or for the work, advice, or conduct of a practitioner. That sits with them, and it is one of the reasons we say plainly that they are independent. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to putting right the part we run: the booking, the record of it, and the messages we send about it. Nothing here takes away a right you have under Ontario consumer law, and nothing here limits liability for something the law does not permit us to limit.
Choosing a practitioner is your decision. Ask them questions, check their registration if it matters to you, and stop if it does not feel right.
Content
The writing, the design, and the marks on this site are ours. Practitioner biographies and photographs belong to the practitioners and appear here with their permission. Please do not copy the site wholesale or pass its content off as your own. Quoting a guide with a link back is welcome.
Privacy
What we collect, why, and how long we hold it is set out in full on the privacy page. It forms part of these terms.
Changes, and the law that applies
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and carrying on with the site after that means the newer version is the one that applies. A booking you already hold keeps the terms it was made under.
The Diamond Sunrise Center operates from Ontario, Canada. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario are where any dispute about them belongs.
Something here unclear, or something you would like changed? Write to us and a real person will answer.
